Silentworld wins repair contract for police patrol boats
Silentworld has been awarded a contract to undertake major annual maintenance and vessel refit services for three police patrol boats in the Solomon Islands.
Silentworld passenger loadings hit new records
The last month has seen record numbers of passengers use Silentworld’s high speed passenger catamaran service between Honiara and Auki. The service, which was launched in November 2009, has now become the premier service between the two major cities in the Solomon Islands and clearly has a bright future.
7th May 2011: Sasape International Shipyard Limited commences official operations
Sasape International Shipyard Limited (SISL) has this month commenced official operations, successfully slipping the Police Vessel Tier 11. With new services being added over the coming months, SISL looks forward to welcoming a number of additional vessels to the facility for scheduled maintenance, repair, paintwork and parts supply.
10th June 2011: New Cairns – Port Moresby route opening in August
